An Interval-Censored Proportional Hazards Model

چکیده

We fit a Cox proportional hazards (PH) model to interval-censored survival data by first subdividing each individual's failure interval into nonoverlapping sub-intervals. Using the set of all endpoints in set, those that fall are then used as cut points for Each sub-interval has an accompanying weight calculated from parametric Weibull based on current parameter estimates. A weighted PH is with multiple lines observations corresponding sub-intervals individual, where lower end observed time weights incorporated. A local likelihood proportional hazards model for interval censored data.

We discuss the use of local likelihood methods to fit proportional hazards regression models to right and interval censored data. The assumed model allows for an arbitrary, smoothed baseline hazard on which a vector of covariates operates in a proportional manner, and thus produces an interpretable baseline hazard function along with estimates of global covariate effects. For estimation, we ext...

A flexible, computationally efficient method for fitting the proportional hazards model to interval-censored data.

The proportional hazards model (PH) is currently the most popular regression model for analyzing time-to-event data. Despite its popularity, the analysis of interval-censored data under the PH model can be challenging using many available techniques. This article presents a new method for analyzing interval-censored data under the PH model. The proposed approach uses a monotone spline represent...

A semiparametric Bayesian proportional hazards model for interval censored data with frailty effects

BACKGROUND Multivariate analysis of interval censored event data based on classical likelihood methods is notoriously cumbersome. Likelihood inference for models which additionally include random effects are not available at all. Developed algorithms bear problems for practical users like: matrix inversion, slow convergence, no assessment of statistical uncertainty. METHODS MCMC procedures co...

Estimation in the cox proportional hazards model with left-truncated and interval-censored data.

We show that the nonparametric maximum likelihood estimate (NPMLE) of the regression coefficient from the joint likelihood (of the regression coefficient and the baseline survival) works well for the Cox proportional hazards model with left-truncated and interval-censored data, but the NPMLE may underestimate the baseline survival. Two alternatives are also considered: first, the marginal likel...

Proportional hazards regression with interval censored data using an inverse probability weight.

The prevalence of interval censored data is increasing in medical studies due to the growing use of biomarkers to define a disease progression endpoint. Interval censoring results from periodic monitoring of the progression status. For example, disease progression is established in the interval between the clinic visit where progression is recorded and the prior clinic visit where there was no ...
